Why oh Why
I chose homeschooling for many reasons. One being, we believe in Creation. Another reason, I am selfish. I want to be with my children as they grow up. Just today my oldest son read in his reader a story that made him giggle so much. He was reading to me and we were cuddled under the blanket on the couch. I love that I got to hear his laughter through him reading his story.
My middle child who is in Kindergarten is enjoying learning to read. He gets so excited when he can read words. The highlight of that discovery is when he ran through the house saying.."I CAN READ!" He is using more manners now and really wants to follow the rules, which before he was really testing them.
Baby Girl is learning to use crayons on paper. She would rather eat the crayons I am sure.
About 2 months ago I wasn't sure I could do this. And many days I still wonder if I can. We are slowly finding our rhythm to this homeschooling thing. I didn't get all of what I wanted to get done this week, but tomorrow is a new day.
